Computer Information Systems Program Details:
Areas of study in the Computer Information Systems Program include networking, operating systems, popular software and the Internet. The mission of the program is to provide technical instruction and skill development to enable students to enter employment in the computer field. Computer technicians continue to be in demand as the business and industry communities increase their use of computers.
Articulation Agreement of TTC RODP Credit to TBR-RODP Community College:
Twenty-one hours will articulate from the Technology Centers to the community colleges.
RODP - Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Information Technology (IT) degree.
Job Opportunities
For those who are well trained in the computer operations field, job opportunities exist in areas ranging from small business to financial institutions to large business (such as school systems, state and federal governments, etc.). Employment opportunities are best for those who have formal computer-related training and are familiar with a variety of operating systems. With technology changing every day, employers are looking for those who are adaptable, willing to learn, and have the latest up-to-date training .
