| WHAT? |
This course is aimed as nurses and other healthcare professionals who care for patients with cardiac disease and must be able to interpret EKG rhythm strips in a variety of settings ranging from emergency situations to routine dysrhythmia analysis. |

The audience for this course is any professional in the healthcare field seeking basic EKG dysrhythmia training. |
| WHERE? |
One may take this course in the privacy of their home or at work. All you will need is a computer with internet access. |
| WHY? |
This content is needed in all acute care and emergency settings by a variety of Healthcare Professional such as nurses, paramedics, EMTs, etc. The content is not provided in detail in most nursing programs and only emergency dysrhythmia is stressed in paramedic and EMT curricula. Having a basic understanding of EKG dysrhythmia is a prerequisite for critical care courses and the American Heart Association's Advanced Life Support course that is required by many healthcare facilities for specific healthcare roles that respond to emergencies and care for critically ill patients.
