This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive overview of Dosage Calculations.   A vital part of the nurse’s role in providing safe medication administration to patients. This Dosage Calculations course serves to assure that the patient receives the accurate dose of each medication. Supervisors want to be assured that the dose ordered by the health care provider is accurately calculated using the dosage form available and the dosage ordered.  The course will allow students to choose what method of dosage calculations work for them and will make the students more comfortable with performing dosage calculations.

LPN or RN Nursing students, Refresher for licensed nurses

One may take this course in the privacy of their home or at work.  You will need the following:  Computer with internet access, have and be able to use at least Microsoft Word '98, and comfortable navigating the Web and email usage.
