MSN-RODP Bridge Option
Registered nurses with bachelors degrees in fields other than nursing now have the opportunity to be considered for admission to the MSN-RODP.
The RN with a non-nursing bachelors degree may complete a 12 semester hour bridge of 4 theory courses before taking MSN courses. All other admission requirements must be met.
These courses are:
NURS 4210, Healthcare Research
NURS 4211, Nursing Leadership & Management
NURS 4212, Trends & Issues in Nursing and Healthcare
NURS 4213, Community Health Nursing

Required courses for the bridge option are not offered every semester. Beginning Fall 2007, required bridge courses will be
offered following the schedule below

*Actual offerings will be based on the availability of faculty, as well as minimal enrollment requirements. RODP reserves
the right to cancel classes, as appropriate.
RN/MSN graduates will not be awarded the BSN degree.
