Mastery Test Overview

Online learning requires certain skills, behavior, study habits, computer equipment, and discipline in order to be successful. Therefore, students enrolled in online courses are encouraged to complete an Online Mastery Test each semester and e-mail the Proof of Completion to all their online instructors.

Students enrolled in an online course will be required to complete this Online Mastery Test for the purpose of verifying the competencies for a successful experience online. This test will assist students in assessing their knowledge, skills, technical requirements, support student services, technical assistance and listings of academic resources to support students online.

Submitting Your Mastery Test Results

Step 1: Complete this Mastery Test as directed by your instructor.

Step 2:  In the "Send my results to" field (shown below), enter your personal email address.

Step 3: When the email is received in your personal account, open the email and click on the link shown at the bottom of the message "The results of this submission may be viewed at:"

Step 4: Click on Download PDF.

Step 5: Log in to the D2L Learning Management System and email the PDF of your mastery test results to your professor.

Step 6: If you encounter any problems with your submission, advise your instructor and notify the HelpDesk at 1-866-550-7637.
