Life-Long Learning Solutions
The Regents Online Campus Collaborative provides comprehensive educational programs and courses through a coordinated network of colleges, universities and colleges of applied technology which span the state of Tennessee. This collaborative arrangement has made Regents one of the most unique and successful online facilitators of degree, certificate and diploma programs in the United States.
We offer programs that range from entry-level, state-of-the-art postsecondary technical training to undergraduate and graduate degree programs for youth, working adults and career transitioners who are looking to achieve their personal and professional goals through online educational resources.
You have access to over 35 educational programs that can positively impact your chosen field or career path. Many programs are focused on areas where future job growth and opportunities are bright. Some of the programs we offer include:
- Allied Health
- Computer Information Systems
- Business Systems Technology
- Web Technology
- Training and Development
Through the Regents Online Campus Collaborative, you choose your "home campus" from among Tennessee’s 6 state universities awarding Bachelor's and Master's degrees, its 13 community colleges providing Associate's degrees and 26 Colleges of Applied Technology offering certificates and diplomas. Upon completion, your credentials will be awarded and conferred by your on-ground home campus even though you took your courses online. The institutions and their programs are recognized by numerous national and regional accreditation associations.
If you reside near your on-ground home campus, you can take online courses through Regents or attend classes on campus. The decision is yours!
Quality Inside and Out
Regents Online Degree Programs and courses have the same content, rigor and outcomes as on-ground programs. Our programs and services are also monitored and evaluated as on-ground programs to ensure quality and continuous program improvements. All online courses are reviewed by a team of peer review (content reviewer, instructional designer and mentors) using the ROCC Quality Review process.
Faculty Trained to Deliver Online Content Effectively
All Regents Online Degree program instructors must be certified by the regional accreditation commission and verified before they will be considered for online teaching assignments. Additionally, all instructors are required to attend training on the online delivery platform, have an understanding of online teaching principles and learning methods, and adhere to high quality teaching standards.
National and Regional Accreditation
Regents Online degree programs offered through Tennessee’s 6 state universities and 13 community colleges are accredited by The Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Colleges of Applied Technology programs are accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE). The Master's of Science in Nursing is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
Regents Online Campus Collaborative delivers education to your desktop --- at home, at work, on the road, at the library or any place where you have a computer and internet access, any time of day and night, seven days a week. Take a class, a part-time course load or become a full-time student. The decision is yours!
Just imagine --- no more waiting in lines or hours away from your family and job responsibilities. No long commutes, no parking fees, no search for a hard-to-find parking space. No more hassles with childcare arrangements or last-minute schedule changes. Instead, you plan your education around your schedule and the demands in your life. You can even register online, purchase your books online, and go to the library online anytime, anywhere.
Our tuition and fees are per credit hour --- making our program one of the most affordable online education options available.
eRate Tuition Fees
The eRate is available to students who are classified as non-residents of Tennessee, and who are enrolled exclusively in online courses.
The eRate is 150% of the institution's approved undergraduate or graduate maintenance fee.
To qualify for an eRate, students must:
- meet all institution admission requirements
- be verified as an online out-of-state student enrolled exclusively in courses delivered online
Students enrolled in any type courses other than online (on-ground, telecourse, distance education, etc.) will not be eligible for the eRate specified in this guideline and will instead incur traditional non-resident fees and charges. Students who enroll in both online courses and other type courses and subsequently drop the other type courses will not then become eligible for the eRate.
