Awards

The Regents Online Campus Collaborative website is the winner of a Bronze award in the Horizon Interactive Awards competition. The award recognizes outstanding achievement among interactive media producers. The 2010 competition received over 1,000 entries from around the world including nearly all 50 states and over 22 countries including: Argentina, Australia, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, UAE and the United Kingdom. A panel of industry professionals from diverse multimedia, graphic design and marketing backgrounds review the entries to determine the work that is to be recognized.

The Regents Online Continuing Education (ROCE) program was a Non-Credit Program Award winner at the Tennessee Alliance Continuing Higher Education (TACHE) conference. ROCE received recognition for its collaborative partnership with Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) to address training needs of employees of the Tennessee Center for Child Welfare and Department of Children's Services.

The Regents Online Campus Collaborative was a Platinum Award winner at the IMS Global Learning Consortium. The consortium recognizes the effective use of technology in context to support and improve learning. Final awards are made based on the scores from a panel of expert judges and attendees. The winners are judged based on evidence in achieving improvement in access, affordability and quality of learning experiences.

The Regents Online Degree Program was invited to serve as the international partner for online cross cultural educational teaching and learning exchanges and online faculty professional development training for Mekelle University in Ethiopia.

The Regents Online Degree Program was selected as the "Virtual University of Choice" by the Asian American Educational Support Center in Bangladesh, India.

The Regents Online Degree Program was rated as one of the top three virtual programs in the nation by The Center for Academic Transformation at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a program designed to support those in higher education taking advantage of information technology to transform their academic practices.
