Training Requirement

RODP Courses desire for all of its faculty to be fully prepared to teach and develop online courses.

RODP Training

The Regents Online Degree Program requires its faculty and course developers to participate in training.. Training sessions are designed to prepare faculty for teaching online (Orientation) and teaching with various D2L tools. Courses are offered using on-ground and online delivery to give faculty an opportunity to experience learning online. All of our training programs are available for any TBR faculty member

REQUIRED TRAINING:

ROCC Faculty Training—all new instructors are required to complete the ROCC Faculty Training:
New Faculty Orientation (Part 1) and New Faculty Teaching with D2L Tools (Part 2).
This must be completed prior to the beginning of the semester.

ROCC Developer Trainng - all developers ( new courses which have never been taught and courses which are being re-developed must attend a two-day training session which is typically held in Nashville. Ideally, this training will be completed prior to the beginning the development of any course materials.
