RODP Course Proposal

An RODP Course Proposal is required to be completed and submitted for each course that is proposed to be developed for the RODP. TheCourse Proposal provides information to the RODP Curriculum Commitee which assists them in making decisions regarding your course. Each proposal is reviewed by an appropriate subcommittee of the RODP Curriculum Committee, then submitted to the full committee for review. Either the subcommittee or the full committee can return the proposal back to the proposed developer if either has questions or concerns about any part of the proposal.

In order to consider a proposal received, you must:

1. Submit the completed proposal with all necessary campus signatures

2. Submit a current resume/vita

3. Submit a one-page example of what you think a representative module within the course will look like.  Example must follow the RODP Sample module format, and list the types of files, content, assessments. 
   (the last page of the course proposal document has an example - more detail is appreciated)

While it helps to e-mail the documents to let us know they are coming, they are not considered as "received" until we receive the original copy with original signatures. (Please keep a copy for your records since it has signatures)

Proposals which are submitted with incomplete information will be returned for completion.

Proposals will not be considered official or complete until the printed copy with all required signatures is received at the address above.

The RODP Curriculum Committee, using discipline-based subcommittees, reviews curriculum, course, and operational issues for the degrees areas; recommends procedures and courses to the Chief Academic Oversight Committee; monitors and assess RODP curriculum and course activities; and assists with RODP curriculum assessment and evaluation. All proposed courses are submitted to the RODP Curriculum Committee for review.
