Required Components of RODP Home Pages
The following components are required on all RODP course homepages.
- Instructor Box
The instructor box shall be the upper most news item box on the course homepage. The Instructor Box shall include the following items:
- Course Name
- Course Number
- Credit Hours
- Instructor Name
- Instructor Contact Information / e-mail & phone number

- Course Welcome Message
The course homepage shall include a message welcoming the students to the course. This message should be a generic message focusing on introducing the students to the course, discipline material and aspects of the course.
*Note: A personalized instructor specific message will be included in the Course Content page in which the instructor shall introduce themself to the students, including background, education and other more specific details about the instructor.
- Course Description
This is the official course description from the RODP Syllabus which was approved by full RODP Curriculum Committee. Instructors are allowed to add some course specific information and components to the syllabus, but are not allowed to remove any of the required components of the syllabus.
