RODP Course Development
The Regents Online Campus Collaborative is constantly adding additional courses to its inventory of online offerings. The process is a detailed and tedious one which encompasses a lot of different subjects and areas. Being an RODP Course Developer is more than being just the creator of the content in the course. Please take the time to read all the information regarding course development found in the links and linked pages below before moving forward with a course proposal.
Unfortunately, the RODP does not keep a list of courses which need to be developed. We can only tell you if a specific course is already in our course inventory. Any course that is proposed must already be an approved course in one of the Tennessee Board of Regents institutions. Couse proposals are not accepted for courses which have not gone through a local institution's curriculum committee and approval process. Additionally, courses which have prerequisites will not be approved unless the prerequisite courses are already in the RODP course inventory. Curriculum Programs are not discussed here, and it is assumed that when a course is proposed, the program which that course falls into is already an approved program.
