Web Page Authoring Technical Certificate

This certificate provides the coursework for the first year of the A.A.S. degree in Web Technoloogy. The courses are only offered through the Regents Online Degree Program. Completion of the certificate will qualify students for an entry-level job in web page authoring.

Fall Semester :

• BIT 1150: Introduction to Microcomputers -- 3 hours
• COM 1000: Beginning HTML - 3 hours
• COM 1010: Basic Web Design - 3 hours
• ENGL2116: Writing for the Web - 3 hours

Spring Semester:

• BUS 1050: Legal Issues for the Web - 3 hours
• CIS 263: Web Design -- 3 hours
• CIS 264: Web Page Applications -- 3 hours
• COM 1020: Basic Web Graphics - 3 hours
