Linking Discussion Questions to Content Modules

If you have created Forums and Topics in the Discussion Tool, you can link the topics directly into the Content Modules.  This will make your content more complete and will also provide an easy way for your students to access the discussion board.

• Go to Course Content
• Click on Manage Content
• Go to the Module where you would like to add the discussion question and click on the Add Topic icon.
• Click on QuickLink
• Type in the title of your discussion. (ex. Discussion 1)
• Type in the short title of your discussion. (ex. Dis 1)
• Click on the QuickLink icon beside the URL box.
• In the dropdown menu beside Pick Category, select Discussion Forums and Topics
• In the dropdown menu beside Item, select the topic that you would like to link.
• Click Insert
• Click Save
