Prospective Freshmen
As a student of the Regents Online program, you will have a world of educational and workforce training opportunities right at your computer twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. No matter where you live, where you are in life or where you’re going, online learning is the perfect choice for you.
The Regents Online program offers many positive aspects to its students including small class sizes, an abundance of professor assistance and the convenience for students to get the work done based on their own schedules. In fact, the average class size in a Regents Online courses is approximately twenty students. This can be attributed to the over 650 unique faculty members that Regents Online has as of the Spring 2010 semester. All of Regents Online's degrees come from accredited institutions, and being a student at Regents makes you feel "like a person, not just a number."
Admissions for high school students varies depending on which home campus you choose. The following are general requirements that most institutions use:
- Complete your home campus' admission application, and submit an application fee
- Provide a high school transcript or GED test score
- Meet the minimum GPA requirements for your home campus
- Provide necessary test scores on the ACT or SAT
- Complete the common high school course requirements
- If you are over the age of 21, you will most likely be required to take placement testing
